This evening a special celebration event was organised at Hebburn Swimming Pool, home of South Tyneside Swimming Club, to welcome home Josef Craig, our very own Paralympic Champion and world record holder.

Swimmers from all squads, both Competition and Learn to Swim were joined by Councillor Alan Kerr, Deputy Leader of South Tyneside Council in congratulating Josef on his fantastic achievements at the recent Paralympic games in London.

After the presentation Josef was kind enough to hand out signed photographs and pose for pictures with many of the club members allowing them to get close up to his Gold Medal.
