Posture Workshop - South Tyneside Swimming Club

We would like to invite parents of A, B and C Squad to a Posture workshop at Boldon Swimming Pool from 6:30pm – 7.00pm on Tuesday 9th October 2012.

The Aim of Session

To deliver a two-phase educational workshop for the coaching staff, parents and swimmers of South Tyneside Swimming Club:

  • Highlighting the importance of posture, proper flexibility and strength balances for the best performance
  • How to carry out a basic assessment and corrective exercises to address any postural flaws
  • Importance of Posture
  • How to develop proper flexibility, strength balances and posture for the best performance
  • Postural types and their impact on performance and injury prevention
  • Anatomy review
  • How to assess your child / athlete
  • Corrective exercises
