  • ASA and Club Membership Fees - Due Now

    Your annual ASA and Club membership fees are due before the end of January. For competitive swimmers it is £50.00 and for non-competitive swimmers it is £35.00. You can pay these fees to your Squad Rep or at the desk on a Wednesday night, Saturday morning or Sunday afternoon. (Please make cheques payable to STSC.) Late payment will incur a £10 administration fee. Failure to pay will result in swimmers not being able to swim.

  • Head Coach Resignation

    It is with regret that we have to inform Club Members that Paul Robinson has resigned as Head Coach of South Tyneside Swimming Club. We would like to thank Paul for his efforts while with the Club and wish him well for the future. There will be a meeting at Haven Point on Saturday 31st May at 8.00am to answer any questions from parents and for the Committee to discuss the appointment of a new Head Coach and Deputy Head Coach, in conjunction with other ideas, regarding developing the Club moving forward.

  • Open Night - 3rd July 2013

    Open night - Wednesday 3rd July 2013 at approxiamately 8.15PM, Hebburn Baths. The Committee and Head Coach would like to invite all A, B & C squad parents to an Open Night after Swimmer of the Month. This is an opportunity for parents to raise any issues/concerns directly.

  • Amended Club Constitution

    All club members can find the updated Club Constitution in the Information section. The amendments were passed in a Special General Meeting in June.

  • Extraordinary General Meeting

    The will be an Extraordinary General Meeting on Wednesday 6th June, 2012 at 8.00pm at Hebburn Pool after the Swimmer of the Month presentations. The Club Constitution needs to be amended in line with the ASA model.

  • Please be aware that parent should NOT be in the changing rooms while swimmers are changing, unless the swimmer is of an age where help is required from parents or the swimmer requires additional specific assistance. This is generally at an age that is stipulated by the pool hirer, usually 7 or 8 years of age. In such circumstances the parent must be the same gender as the child, unless the facility has family changing facilities or is a "mixed changing village". Thank you for your co-operation.
