Club Championships 4^th December – Further Information

There will be no charge for spectators at this year’s club championships, instead we are encouraging spectators to make a contribution through purchasing one or more raffle tickets.

We also are welcoming donations of raffle prizes, if you are able to, please bring any donations (such as bottles, sweets or confectionary) to any squad rep, club coach or learn to swim teacher at any session prior to the event.

Small Pool Events (5m/10m) will take place from 1.10pm – swimmers need to be ready poolside by 1pm. Immediately following the small pool events, the parade will take place and the swimmers will be presented with their medal and a prize.

Big Pool swimmers (25m/50m events) should aim to arrive for 1:30pm so they can participate in the parade.  Warm up is scheduled for 2pm with a 2:30pm start.

There will be a short interval during the big pool events during which all spectators will be entitled to join in a game with a chance to win some spot prizes.

The results from the club championships will be shared at the annual presentation evening which is scheduled for Friday 20^th January @ Elmfied Social Club, Hebburn.  Tickets for this will be available shortly after the club championships have taken place.  We ask that anyone who is in possession of a club trophy from the last presentation evening returns the trophy at the next SOTM session which will take place on Wednesday 7^thDecember.

We are hosting our Annual Club Championships on Sunday December 4^th 2022

This gala is all about having fun through competition; all swimmers in the club, regardless of age, ranking or ability, are encouraged to take part.  The cost for all entries has been reduced for our 2022 championships.

This event cannot take place without the help of volunteers - if you are interested in contributing on the day, please speak to any member of the committee or any coach.

This event is held at Haven Point in South Shields. 

Closing Date for entries:- Monday 28^th November 2022

The gala will be split into two separate events; the Small Pool 5m and 10m Event and the Big Pool Age Group Event.

Spectator information will be shared prior to the meet.

The gala programmes will be published after the closing date on this page as soon as they are ready. These will be to view or print off, as paper copies will not be available to purchase on the day.
