Clothing and equipment
Below is a list of club kit requirements to be followed when attending gala competitions.
- 2 x STSC t-shirt and hoody (to be worn to travel to and from galas) available to purchase from South Tyneside Swim Team (moette.co.uk)
- Navy shorts or tracksuit bottoms
- 2 x STSC swimming hats available to purchase from South Tyneside swim club on request. Please speak to your swimmer’s coach.
All swimmers will need a bag to carry their equipment and a string bag for poolside is recommended.
Other items:
- Towel (ideally two)
- Goggles (+ a spare pair)
- Health snacks (enough for the whole day)
- Water bottle
- Packed lunch (when required)
- Poolside shows
- Change for a locker
- List of events entered in the gala
They DO NOT
need fins, boards, snorkels at galas.
All
clothing and equipment should be clearly labelled.
