Arrangements Update From Billingham ASC (19/09/2021)
Spectators We do have some good news in that our pool provider, Tees Active, have now allowed us to have spectators. Our maximum number is 240 (capacity is 334); therefore we are requesting that swimmers do not bring more than one parent/spectator along. Entry will be £5 per day and programmes will be on sale. Please note that the Forum coffee shop is still closed but there is a Costa coffee and a Greggs store 2 minutes walk in the town square.
COVID Details
Tees Active have relaxed most of their guidance for COVID but the key points are:
- Face masks are optional and not compulsory in the centre for either swimmers, coaches or spectators. But, individuals are encourage to wear them if required.
- All users of the facility are encouraged to sanitize hands on entry and at other points in the building. Again, this is not compulsory.
- There is a one way system in place in and around building and ensure this is adhered to. Please keep to the left on stairs and bridge over the pool.
Scoreboard
There is a current issue with the scoreboard at the pool. The required part is currently on order from the Colorado Timing Systems who are based in the US but it may not be here on time to have a functioning scoreboard for next weekend. To mitigate this we will issue the results ASAP after each event and have them issued in more locations around the pool and spectator areas.
Live results will be available via our website and the direct link is: www.billinghamasc.com/Results/BA21/
Session Timings Each morning session will have a 8.00am warm up with a 9.00am start and an expected finish time of 11.30am. The afternoon sessions have been brought forward slightly to 12.30pm warm up with a 1.30pm start. Saturday will finish around 4.30pm and Sunday at approximately 4.00pm.
