A late addition to our competition calendar as Wear Valley Amateur Swimming Club are holding a level 3 meet at Woodhouse Close Leisure Complex, Bishop Auckland on 12th and 13th November.  Closing date for entries will be Friday 7th October.

Further Information from Wear Valley -

The Gala is being held at Woodhouse Close Leisure Centre, Bishop Auckland, DL14 6JX.

Car parking around the complex is free.

Warm up times will be 8.30am both days.  Morning sessions are expected to finish by approx. 11.40am.

Afternoon session warm ups will commence at 12.30pm.   Detailed warm up sheets will be made available to coaches on the day as part of the coach pack.  Lunch will be provided as part of the coach pass package and will be provided above the pool area in the Old Canteen.  Please let me know if there are any dietary requirements by Thursday? 

It is anticipated that afternoon sessions will conclude by 3.45pm each day.

We will be operating a cash only system on the day - £7 per day and £12 for the 2 days/weekend.  

A final Gala Programme will be available to download from Programme-November-22.pdf (wearvalleyasc.co.uk) on the morning of Friday 11th November.

Start Lists will be available to purchase on the day prior to each session.

We will be trialling an online entry form for this event, which can be found here

The online form is intuitive, but to complete an entry, simply click on the above link and -

1. On the first page, enter your email address, the swimmers name, ASA membership number and gender, then click on "Next"

2. You will then be presented with a filtered events list based on the swimmers gender selected on the first page

3. Click to check the box next to the events you would like to enter

4. Click "Next"

5. Complete the payment method and amount paid fields (in numeric value only - no pound sign required), and optionally set the "send me a copy of my responses" to get a copy of the entry via email

6. Click "Submit" and you willl be directed to a confirmation page.

Your entry will then be electronically recorded and submitted to the Competition Secretary for processing and submission to Wear Valley.
