B Squad
Welcome to the B Squad section. The B Squad train up to 6 days during a normal week, swimming is at Boldon Comprehensive School, Jarrow School, Haven Point and Hebburn Central. For further squad details see below.

Squad News

There will be a junior league selection next week for all squad swimmers age 9 by the 26th of November and 12 and under by the 31st of December.
The session will be at Boldon 4.30-6.30pm. Any swimmers who usually train at Boldon on a Thursday and are not of junior league age, please attend Jarrow 6.45-8.15pm

Minimum Attendance Commitment
There are 7 swimming sessions available for those aged over 12 in this squad and 5 sessions for those aged 12 & under. Average % attendance must be maintained at above 80%. All land training sessions organised must be attended in addition to pool training sessions. Swimmers must fulfil an attendance of 80% or above to be considered for a move into the A Squad. Morning training sessions are not optional. Swimmers are required to swim at a minimum of 4 competitive galas per season.
Aims
Work towards achieving goals set for the season
Develop a high level of technical ability in all four strokes
Build an aerobic base and introduce anaerobic energy system training
Develop time management skills
Work towards performing at County, Regional and National competitions

Injuries need written info from physiotherapist – nature of the injury, possible cause, length of recovery time, limitations whilst in recovery, any exercises given for cure/prevention of recurrence.
