Amy has vast knowledge and experience of teaching children swimming through her role as Teacher on our Learn To Swim programme. She is a Level 2 licensed swim teacher and holds a degree in Applied Sport and Exercise Science.  Amy was a STSC swimmer and competed at a county, regional and national level.


Dot Houston - D Squad Coach

Coaching Level: ASA Coach Levels 1 & 2
Teaching Level: ASA Teaching Levels 1 & 2
Additional Qualifications: Lifeguard, First Aid

Dot Houston Teaching swimming since 17 years of age with the local authority, Dot joined STSC originally as a parent helper. Her coaching career at STSC began helping with B Squad and subsequently D Squad, Dot doesn't quite know how, from there, she is now lead coach for the Learn To Swim programme, D Squad coach and head of the STSC Junior League team.
